2019 and Big News for 2020

Completed a Spartan Stadia race in Fenway park!!!

I am still struggling with the weight loss, I joined a weight loss bet at work and came in 2nd. I say I am struggling but if you look at the last 6 years.

I have still lost 90lbs! The second time without appetite suppressants. As you can see it really has been a battle, you can see there were a lot more ups and downs in the last year. Last year and for the rest of my life I am going to get on the scale once a week currently Wednesday. I also think recording it is important. It is so easy to forget how far you have come, I somedays feel like I lost no weight and it is important to be able to see that I have made progress.

So this years goal is to be under 200lbs by September 5th, my wedding date! I am also going to do a few Spartan races one in Nee York so I can go see my friend Jess, a two night backpacking trip through the Bond Mountains in June and another Spartan race Liz is going to join in August and then a final run through Fenway in November with my future wife joining me. So I have to be at my final weight when I walk down the aisle, I want to move on with this portion of my life.

I am going to do my best to keep posting my food and exercise and have Wednesday weigh in with 01 January being the first updated weight. I was 260.8 but that was before Christmas and it has not been pretty! I have been using polar beat heart rate monitor, since I started using it in Sept 2018 I have burned over 100k calories with it.

I feel like I have been doing a good job building habits, now I just need to put it all together and get this last bit of weight off!!

I also have to make sure I don’t do any calorie heavy food projects made 35 lbs of kielbasa for Christmas gifts. Can’t be doing that if we are going to lose all of that weight!
